Genevieve is in kindergarten in Brevard County. She invited a few close friends from her class to her birthday party.  Each guest was asked NOT to bring a gift, but to bring $6 instead to donate to The Children’s Hunger Project.  The neighbors across the street heard about her request, and also stopped by with some money.  One aunt and uncle sent gifts but also included some money.  Genevieve immediately said the money would be included in the donation.  All together she raised $54.

For the party, the girls did an art craft, decorated cupcakes and frosted and decorated Genevieve’s birthday cake.  It was a great day for Genevieve, her friends and family, AND hungry kids in Brevard!
