The Children’s Hunger Project is working to end child hunger in Brevard by providing weekend nutrition to all elementary school children who are in need.

This work is accomplished through many volunteers, faith-based organizations, companies, and a dedicated board of directors. These partners work together to ensure that kids in Brevard have weekend packages of food that are simple for a young child to open.

The Children’s Hunger Project started with one school in 2010, and now serves over 2,000 children at 45 schools in Brevard. Still, there is a waitlist of 1,000+ children who spend nearly 70 hours on a typical weekend at risk of hunger.
