A food bin will be placed in the lobby of City Hall on Friday, July 28th through Friday, August 11th, 2017. Anyone wishing to donate can drop off donations in the bin located in the lobby of the Palm Bay City Hall Annex at 120, Malabar Rd. SE, Palm Bay, FL, 32907. The Children's Hunger Project is currently in need of raisins and applesauce as well as small cans of Chef Boyardee Spaghetti and Meatballs, Beefaroni and Beef Ravioli (with pull top lids), small boxes of Kellogg's cereal, chocolate milk (shelf stable) 8 oz, and 100% apple juice 4.23 oz.
‘See a hungry kid. Buy food. Feed the kid.’ This is the simple plan that drives The Children’s Hunger Project. Since 2010 the organization has delivered food packages every school week to elementary schools in Brevard County to help kids as risk of weekend hunger. This kid-friendly food is lightweight and easy for kids to handle with no cooking required. On Monday, the kids return to school from the weekend, but with a better and healthier foundation for learning.
