The Palm Bay Mayor's Ball benefits hungry children

PB Mayors Ball Dec 8 2017

Because of the support of the community and local businesses, MORE KIDS CAN EXPECT FOOD for the weekends, a time when those children most at-risk can go hungry. PLEASE SUPPORT this wonderful upcoming event to help those in Brevard who are most vulnerable. Mayor Capote invites all area residents as well as Brevard's corporate and community leaders to join him at the 2017 Mayor's Ball benefiting The Children's Hunger Project at the Hilton Rialto,  200 Rialto Place. Employees also held a very successful food drive during October in connection with this event.

See a hungry kid. Buy food. Feed the kid.

This is the simple plan that drives The Children’s Hunger Project. Since 2010, the organization has delivered food packages every school week to elementary schools in Brevard County to help kids at risk of weekend hunger. This kid-friendly food is lightweight and easy for kids to handle with no cooking required. On Monday, the kids return to school from the weekend, but with a better and healthier foundation for learning.
