Andrew and Pamela Adelman recently visited The Children’s Hunger Project with a donation. By gifting our organization with a percentage of their their food delivery service fees, the Adelmans have made it possible to feed more hungry children locally.
THEIR STORY: They were in the food industry for almost 20 years as a chef and high end server, and relocated here from San Diego to allow more time with family.
When the pandemic hit they decided to create A Perfect Pear grocery delivery. The motto is “We don’t deliver groceries we deliver customer service”.
The service offers delivery from not just major grocers but also specialty items from local businesses not typically covered.
Some services offered by perfect pair includes single or multiple store shopping trips, free access to wholesale clubs and fish and Meat Market Square items are hand-selected by staff. They create connections with their clients and anticipate their needs.
“We rarely take a day off and are just a call or text away when our clients need us. Even while not working we keep our eyes peeled for time-sensitive sales and hard to find products such as cleaning supplies and toiletries,” says Pamela.
Being locally owned and operated, they have developed deep roots in our community and have received incredible local support.
