Mayor’s Masquerade Ball, Sep 26 setup 9am-12noon, Radisson at the Port

Join us for the 2026 Mayor’s Masquerade Ball, proudly sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Cocoa Beach! We’re looking for volunteers to help with event setup on Saturday, September  26th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Radisson at the Port (8701 Astronaut Blvd, Cape Canaveral, FL 32920). **Volunteers will  meet at 9am at the front entrance of the convention center.** Volunteer tasks include: Covering 350 chairs, Assembling and placing centerpieces on 45 tables, Assisting with outdoor signage, Decorating the lobby, Setting up silent auction displays, Helping with stage decorations.

We currently do not schedule packing events during the weekends. This ensures that our weekday operations run smoothly and that we can provide the best experience for all involved. PACKING EVENTS

We are blessed with a supportive community of volunteers that we currently have a wait list for our packings. At times, we will have an opening come up and we contact those on the wait list. When there is an urgent need (ie, a group cancellation), we contact those on our wait list and may follow up with a volunteer newsletter.

WE OFTEN HAVE A NEED FOR EVENT VOLUNTEERS.

Volunteering at events that help feed our kids is also vital. Look for opportunities on this site or our Facebook page.

You can also have a food drive with your group, church or family. All these are volunteer efforts that help feed hungry children locally.

VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS

Following are basic guidelines:

  • Ages 8 and up may participate in packing.
  • If you do not have a volunteer waiver on file with us, click here to complete the online form or click here to download, print and bring with you to a packing event.
  • If your group prefers to continue masking, please let us know and we will also be masked.
