At The Children’s Hunger Project, we are proud of the progress we have made so far in serving our community. However, the need is still great and we cannot do it alone. This year, we saw an increase of 1,000 more students who need our help to ensure they do not go hungry on weekends. That’s why we are reaching out to you today to ask for your support. With 87¢ of every $1 we receive going towards feeding a child, your donation will make a tangible difference in the lives of those we serve. Together, we can ensure that no child goes hungry on weekends and during school breaks. Join us in our mission and let’s make a lasting impact on our community. Among food insecure children in Brevard County, 72% reside in households with income at or below the poverty line while 28% are likely ineligible for federal nutrition programs. These statistics paint a big picture of the challenges faced by our most vulnerable community members. Please join us in making a mighty difference. You will see in the impact report we have made strides, but we are still in dire need. Thank you for your continued support of our mission.
