Thank you to each and every one of you who participated in the Health First Fight Child Hunger 5K ❤️🏃🏽We surpassed our goal with 626 registrations for this year’s race! Everyone enjoyed a pancake breakfast, music, and plenty of fun! Cheering on the participants were Viera Charter School cheerleaders. With participants as young as age 9 and young-at-heart as age 82, all received a commemorative t-shirt and finisher medal. It was a very cool and sunny morning, just right for a 5K! This event helped raise awareness of the efforts to fight child hunger by Health First, The Children’s Hunger Project and the Sharing Center of Central Brevard.
