Hello TCHP friends and supporters,
I’m proud to share that this year marks 15 years of impact – a milestone made possible because of your unwavering support. Together, we’ve continued to make a meaningful difference for children in Brevard County who face food insecurity, especially those who rely on weekend meals.
This past year, we saw an increase of 500 more students served, bringing the total to 4,800 children. Yet the need continues to grow. Today 70% of Brevard County Public elementary school students – more than 25,000 children – qualify for free or reduced meals because of limited household income. And with growing demand, this year we are looking at over $1 million in food costs to meet the growing need.
As you read through our 2025 Impact Report, you’ll see the strides we’ve made together. Yet there is still much work ahead. Recently, our team spent time with the children we serve, witnessing their joy and gratitude firsthand—a powerful reminder of why we do what we do.
When the recent government shutdown motivated us to pack and deliver twice the usual number of food packages, our community didn’t hesitate to step up. Volunteers, partners and supporters came together once again to ensure children had the food they needed to thrive.
I am deeply grateful for your continued commitment. Together, we are feeding hope, fueling potential, and changing lives.
Thank you for standing beside us in this vital work.
With heartfelt thanks,
Cheryl Cominsky, Executive Director
