The Seaside Piecemakers Quilt Guild of Melbourne will hold its Quilt Show on Friday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., and Saturday, Feb. 8, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Wickham Park Community Center, 2815 Leisure Way, Melbourne. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door. The proceeds from this year’s “Opportunity Quilt” raffle will be donated to the Children’s Hunger Project.
Over 200 quilts will be on display. Awards for Pieced, Hand and Machine Applique, Mixed Techniques, Miniature Quilts, Modern Quilts, Original Design, Special Techniques, and Challenge Quilt. There will be items made by guild members for sale, a Silent Auction, Small Quilt Raffle, and vendors selling all things quilt and sewing related. Samurai Sharp will be at our quilt show to sharpen your scissors, knives, pinking shears, and more on your way into the quilt show so you can pick them up on your way out.
Attendees may purchase breakfast and lunch catered by Palm Shores Bistro.
