Nine year old Kate made some sweet treats and sold them in Satellite Beach to raise money for The Children’s Hunger Project. She couldn’t believe that any child wouldn’t have food at home for the weekend, thinks what TCHP is doing is awesome, came up with the idea for a bake sale and raised $300! We are blessed to have so many generous people in our community.

Says Kate’s Mom Wendy, “Her older brother and I helped pack meals a few years ago but she was too young to help but she has always wanted to do her part. She came up with this idea on her own and it caught me off-guard. But I’m so proud of her for doing it.”
