The Childrens Hunger Project Youth Council was formed for high school students who are passionate about making a difference in their community. This initiative is designed to engage young leaders in the critical fight against childhood hunger.

Members of the Youth Council will focus on supporting existing school clubs dedicated to service and outreach, while also playing a vital role in promoting and assisting with various events organized by The Childrens Hunger Project. This hands-on experience not only allows students to contribute to meaningful causes but also helps them develop essential skills in leadership, teamwork, and community engagement.

Participants in the TCHP Youth Council will be encouraged to embrace the core values of Serve, Engage, Grow. By serving their peers and the community, engaging with local initiatives, and growing both personally and as leaders, members will have the chance to create a lasting impact on the lives of children facing hunger. This is more than just a council; its a movement towards building a stronger, healthier future for our youth. Join us in this crucial mission and help us make a difference!

The Children’s Hunger Project Youth Council members will be challenged to Serve, Engage, & Grow.

  • Serve: TCHP Youth Council Members will see first and foremost what it means to serve.  Members will have a hands-on opportunity to plan and participate in service projects that will benefit the elementary students within Brevard County.
  • Engage: TCHP Youth Council Members will learn how The Children’s Hunger Project functions. They will be a direct link between The Children’s Hunger Project and school clubs.
  • Grow: TCHP Youth Council Members will lead and participate in bi-monthly meetings (every other month) during the school year. Learning and developing their leadership skills.
