At The Children’s Hunger Project, we are honored to recognize the life and legacy of Deanne Dailey Hansen, whose compassion and generosity will continue to make a lasting impact in our community.
Deanne lived a full and vibrant life—rooted in creativity, service, and a deep love for her community. From her work in New York City and time abroad, to her many passions here in Brevard County, she gave her time and heart to causes she believed in. A founder of the Brevard Zoo, an advocate for the arts, and a supporter of animal rescue, Deanne’s life was defined by giving back.
Through her legacy gift to The Children’s Hunger Project, Deanne will provide food for 131 students for an entire school year—ensuring that children in our community have the nourishment they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
Legacy gifts are a powerful way to continue making a difference beyond your lifetime. By including The Children’s Hunger Project in your will, trust, or as a beneficiary, you can create a lasting impact for generations of children in need—just as Deanne has done.
Deanne’s kindness and generosity will live on in every child she helps feed.
