Lou’s Blues will host a Krampus Nacht (Night) on Sunday, December 5th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
As an alternative to the traditional Krampus Krawl, we are throwing a Krampus celebration this year.
Lou’s Blues is donating $500 in cash and gifts to the cause!
Costume contests and a 50/50 drawing to benefit The Children’s Hunger Project will be held.
Other door prizes will be drawn, including certificates for future pub crawls, MadHatter Mugs, and other items.
Costumes are not essential, but they are greatly recommended!
Female Krampuses are also welcome!
As the evil companion of St. Nicholas, Krampus delegates the responsibility of punishing naughty children to a hell-bound doppelganger known by several names (Knecht Ruprecht, Certa, Perchten, Black Peter, Schmutzli, Pelznickel, Klaubauf), but who is best known as KRAMPUS. Often shown as a typical devil with horns, hooves, and a long tongue, but often as a frightening gent clothed in black or as a hairy man-beast, the devil may take several forms.
