CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS TO SUPPORT THIS EVENT THAT HELPS FEED HUNGRY KIDS LOCALLY.
“We know how much people love their blueberries and we have a grower who brings in fresh blueberries from right here from Florida for sale. It’s awesome.” says June Font, Office Manager. Ms. Font also discussed some of the popular blueberry-related items that will be available at the event. “We have berry shortcake,” Ms. Font said. “It’ll be strawberry and blueberry on top of a delicious cake with whipped cream on top. It’s so yummy. There’s also blueberry lemonade, blueberry cobbler, and a lot of blueberry treats.” Blueberry jams, jellies and fudge are available at the event as well. “We have over 150 vendors,” Ms. Font added.
Free bounce houses, free rock painting, free games for the kids, free petting farm, pony rides, train rides, axe throwing tournament. There’s a casting tournament for fishing. All the kids can cast their line for free and learn how to cast if they like fishing. There’s a “Berry Cute Baby Contest,” free sack races, pie eating and hula hoop contests and a batting cage. Food vendors galore, art and craft vendors, great live music all weekend long. Beer and wine will be sold as well.
