Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving Raises over $65K to Help Feed Local School Children

Brevard County, FL – In 2019, Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants in Brevard helped raise over $37,000 through their annual Month of Giving for The Children’s Hunger Project. In 2020 due to the pandemic, Jersey Mike’s Day of Giving was canceled.

The goal this year to surpass the 2019 total at Brevard Jersey Mike’s was a lofty target. The totals for all eight restaurants are now in – drumroll, please…$65,361.04!!

The Day of Giving on March 31, where ALL proceeds in Brevard were donated to The Children’s Hunger Project, was an unparalleled success! Contributions during the entire month of March from customers who rounded up their orders, made donations in-store, or used the Jersey Mike’s app, had a big impact on this total.

The Children’s Hunger Project staff and board members would like to thank Bryan Price – franchise owner of six local Jersey Mike’s, and Tyler Freese – franchise owner of Suntree and Viera locations, for their support. TCHP also thanks ALL Jersey Mike’s employees, who made this gift to local children possible. They worked so hard all month and are wonderful, caring group.

Many thanks to TCHP volunteers, and of course all of you who supported this fundraiser. Every single time you bought a Jersey Mike’s meal during March, you were helping feed a hungry kid. The overwhelming support from this generous community is deeply appreciated.

Hibiscus Blvd, Melbourne; 100 Fifth Ave, Indialantic; 5675 N. Atlantic Blvd, Cocoa Beach; 700 E. Merritt Island Cswy, Merritt Island; 2338 Citadel Way, Viera; and 6395 North Wickham Rd, Suntree.

“We See a Hungry Child. We Buy Food. We Feed the Child.” is the mission of The Children’s Hunger Project, feeding children at risk of hunger in Brevard County for over 10 years, on weekends, during the summer, and in partnership with other local nonprofits feeding children and families.
