We wrapped up our this year’s Feed and Read program, a summer partnership with United Way of Brevard. We assisted at 38 locations for almost 2,000 children, and 11,671 packets of food were served through this summer’s partnership. 9,621 books were distributed, and there was a ‘Thank You’ breakfast for the drivers.

The Summer Feed and Read program provides a meal and volunteers read aloud to children. The program aims to reduce hunger and reading loss during the summer through providing nutrition, mentors for kids struggling with their reading, and free books.
